COMMUNITY BANDS SKILLS DAY
MBA Community Band Skills Development Workshop! This one-day event will focus on learning and sharing in a fun-filled environment. The goal of the workshop is to provide clinician instruction and full ensemble rehearsal to enhance community band members playing techniques and musical skills. Participants should be able to read and play their instrument at Intermediate or the Grade Three Concert Band Level. This workshop day will include full ensemble, sectional, and like instrument rehearsals/workshops. Created in 2010 by the Manitoba Millennium Band, this workshop strives to include learning new music, working with clinicians & guest conductors, enhancing music literacy, improving instrument technique, and meeting new community band members from across Manitoba. The Community Bands of Manitoba strive to expand the enjoyment of our audiences and broaden the scope & appreciation of Band Music in Manitoba & Canada.
