Alena Arnason

Alena Arnason teaches Band, Jazz Band, and Music in Pembina Trails School Division. As a conductor, she has led the Winnipeg New Horizons Intermediate Band, MBA Summer Band Camps, and an abundance of local clinics and sectionals. She performs with the Winnipeg Wind Ensemble, also serving on their board of directors. Alena is an active volunteer in the Manitoba Band community, currently serving as the MBA Junior and Intermediate Honour Band Chairperson. She has obtained degrees from the University of Manitoba (B. Ed/B. Mus) and Acadia University (M. Ed). She is passionate about all things Band and is excited and grateful to have the opportunity to work with the wonderful students at the MBA Level One Band Festival.
