Community Band Festival

Community bands have been a part of Manitoba's heritage for more than a century. The MBA sponsors an annual event in June.

The 2026 Community Band Festival, a part of the MBA Family of Festivals, will again be held at beautiful Coronation Park in St. Boniface on Saturday, June 6, and Sunday, June 7 2026.

Many hands make light work! If you're planning on attending the festival, why not lend a hand? Different volunteer roles are available, from helping with setup and/or tear-down, at the welcome tent, to helping with transitions between bands.  Volunteer here
